Washington State Jasper Pendant Wire Wrapped Copper Necklace OOAK

Handcrafted with a natural jasper gemstone that I collected while beachcombing at Westport, Washington, this one of a kind wire wrapped pendant celebrates the beauty of Pacific Northwest rocks and the simple elegance of earth-toned jewelry.

When I rockhound, I am always searching for stones that will make beautiful jewelry. This particular jasper caught my attention because of its intricate speckled patterning and soft neutral colors. Cream, tan, gray, olive, and warm earthy tones blend together in a design that reminds me of weathered stone, driftwood, and sandy beaches.

This pendant was designed to showcase the natural beauty of the gemstone while holding it securely in a comfortable and practical setting. The open wire weave frame highlights the shape of the stone while allowing it to remain the focal point. Because each stone is unique, this pendant is completely one of a kind.

I created this piece entirely from pure copper wire, making it naturally nickel free and a great option for many people with metal sensitivities.

The copper has been oxidized and polished to emphasize the details of the wirework, then selectively re-oxidized to create a rich range of warm copper tones. The finished piece has been protected with Renaissance Wax to help preserve the finish.

Because copper naturally develops additional patina over time, I include a small polishing pad with your purchase. If you wish to restore brighter copper highlights in the future, simply buff the desired areas and wipe the pendant with a damp, non-abrasive cloth afterward.

I offer a high quality adjustable satin slipknot cord or a handcrafted antiqued copper chain. The cord ends are finished and sealed, and Hypo Cement is injected into the knots to help keep them secure. My copper chains are assembled by hand and feature all nickel free and hypoallergenic materials. The jump rings are hammered for strength and filed flush to help prevent slippage.

Copper chains include a 3 inch extender chain. Please select the shortest length you would like the necklace to hang, and you will be able to lengthen it by up to 3 inches. The most commonly selected length for my pendants is 17 inches.

My normal shipping turnaround is 1–3 business days. Please allow an additional 2–3 business days if you order a cord or chain so I can create and attach it for you.

This pendant was handcrafted by me in my nonsmoking studio in scenic Union, Washington. It comes with a jewelry satchel for storage, a surprise gift, and plenty of protective packaging. You will receive the exact pendant shown in the photographs.
