These are natural amethyst spheres in soft lavender to rich violet tones, each with beautiful white veining, reflective flecks, occasional smoky zones and the occasional little rainbow surprise. You will receive ONE sphere, intuitively chosen from the lot in the size you select.

They are polished, balanced and feel incredible in the hand. Smooth and delightfully calming. The perfect size for meditation, Reiki, grid work, chakra healing, collecting, or wire wrapping into a pendant.

I work in a smoke-free studio in Union, Washington, and each sphere is energetically cleansed on selenite before it leaves my studio.

About Amethyst

Amethyst is a purple variety of quartz with a Mohs hardness of 7. Its color comes from iron impurities exposed to natural radiation within the earth. It is light sensitive and can fade in strong sunlight, so I recommend storing it away from bright light. Please do not cleanse amethyst in direct sun.

Cool running water, selenite, or rock salt are my preferred methods for cleansing.

Fun geological fact: when heated to high temperatures, amethyst turns yellow, orange or amber. Most commercial citrine on the market is actually heat-treated amethyst.

Energetic & Personal Experience

Amethyst works strongly with the third eye and crown chakra for me. It brings a steady, calm clarity. Not sleepy. Just centered.

It softens mental noise. It helps you step back when you are overstimulated. When I sit with an amethyst sphere, I feel my thoughts slow down and organize themselves.

Historically, amethyst has been associated with balance, moderation, intuition, spiritual awareness and emotional steadiness. Many people use it for headaches and nervous tension. I am not making medical claims. I can only say that a lot of people, myself included, reach for amethyst when the mind feels overloaded.

Spheres in particular radiate energy evenly in all directions. I find they fill a space gently rather than harshly. They help prepare a space for meditation and make other stones feel more “coherent” in a grid.
